No Class March 28th!!

There will be no class on Saturday, March 28th. In place of classtime you must visit the gallery Bitforms in Chelsea NYC. In addition to this visit you must also complete all exercises in Chapter 18+19 (hand in exercises on a cd in class on April 4th) and read Chapter 20. If you have not already posted a link to your project4 websites post these ASAP on the blog.

Here is what I came up with so far
It is not as great as the other websites I've done because I didn't cheat by using custom made templates.

Syllabus Change: Chapters 18, 19 +20 NOT due next week

In order to have you concentrate on your html projects I wanted to let you know that the Flash Animation chapters in your book are NOT due next week (March 21st.) If you feel comfortable moving forward please go ahead, but they will not be due.

Two presentations are due next week, however, and the 2 people giving presentations are:
Filip and Jasmin.

See the image below of the code we discussed as an example in class. You can use this as a basis for your homework project.

Remember this assignment is to push you to create links using basic html. You learned all of the basics in your homework assignments. Remember the important part is to use image links (and text) to link at least 10 html pages non-linearly to tell a simple story. Be creative with your images and the way they link. Getting things organized correctly and having your images link well are more important that the look of the website. If you want to push yourself work on the look too. Use Dreamweaver to help you with the layout if you need it. Please look back to Chapters 15 and 16 to review the basics.

Also look to the html tutorial on w3schools for tons of great information to help you.

This is a digital collage of 6 different images of me. The light in the background is a picture of the lighs that represent the world trade center. I tried to make a photo of me in a batman costume and in my scrubs. I had a little trouble gettin my eyes and lips to line up so i took the smile from the batman image and stretched it over my scrubs image

My day usually on my HP laptop, for work, homework, gaming, and web surfing. Read books on my itouch. Picture of me eating in Japan as example of eating is in all our days. My girlfriend. The back ground is Victory Monument in Pehlem Bay Park where I run with my best friend. Finally in the center is the power sign for Xbox360 and Live on the bottom, this is because I play when I'm not doing any of the above.

Hello all,

    I see that everyone is doing well in their assignments and that's good to know. However... I thought I was getting somewhere, and now, I don't even know what to do or where I am. I'm stuck with chapter 12 here in HN 10 fl. I've been here since 6:45PM and it is now 9:04 PM. For some ODD reason, I cannot save this webpage. The manager couldn't figure out what the problem was either. I read the instructions countless times and I am not getting anywhere. I'm practically done with my collage which is a good thing but I'm not getting through with this exercise and it's stressing me out...I'm going to move on to the next exercises but I'm desperate here...

This site is by a friend of a friend. I like to do grayscale pieces first. Most of the time, color gets complicated and time consuming for me.

Anyhow, there are good colorizing and blending tutorials. There should still be free tutorials too.

It is only for PC's and you must have Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007. I did this in 2008. There is a movement behind Excel games, but I want to migrate to web and standalone games in the future.

They took off the instructions, but I have them on my personal site. It is also on a German site, I think. In any case, the first level is easy; however, if you miss two straight times, the remaining pieces are shuffled. Therefore, it is almost impossible to complete the third level; if you get there.
